Continuous Delivery

Today I found another living and successful proof that Continuous Delivery can be done. Moreover it can be done in financial sector
  • that must complies to many restrictions, and
  • operates with big amounts of money ;-)
I'm talking about company called WealthFront. More information about their implementation of Continuous Deliver can be found on their technical blog at http://eng.wealthfront.com/.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I remember Dan North's presentation, company that he works for - DRW Trading  (also financial sector) - uses that methodology too.

PS. There is also book about that topic Continuous Delivery: Reliable Software Releases through Build, Test, and Deployment Automation

update:
Here is link to very nice Dan's presentation: From Months to Minutes - where he talks (among many other things) about CD.

Does anyone have a link to video of his optimising the business one shell script at a time presentation from QCon 2011?

Yes, i've watched them yesterday but I was too tired to update post. Maybe work of Dan North deserves it's own post :-)
